Vom 19. bis 22.11.2008 ist Atos Worldline auf der Medica, dem 40. Weltforum der Medizin, in Düsseldorf vertreten, wo auch dieses Jahr wieder über 130.000 Teilnehmer erwartet werden. In Halle 15 präsentiert Atos Worldline am Stand 15F45 technische Abwicklungslösungen rund um die Gesundheitskarte. Auf der Agenda steht das von Atos Worldline entwickelte Karten-Applikations-Management-System "Worldline eGK KAMS", das den kompletten Lebenszyklus der elektronischen Gesundheitskarte abbildet. Weitere Themen sind der Java Security Server und eKiosk.

4. - 6. November 2008 - International Payments Central & Eastern Europe-Forum - Prag
Vom 04. bis 06.11.2008 findet wieder ein Treffen von Zahlungsverkehrsexperten aus den alten und neuen EU-Mitgliedsstaaten statt. Bereits zum sechsten Mal treffen sie sich in den Corinthia Towers in Prag, um im Rahmen der Konferenz (05. und 06.11.2008) Erfahrungen auszutauschen, heikle Zahlungsverkehrsfragen und künftige Geschäftspotenziale zu diskutieren. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf aktuellen Entwicklungen sowie möglichen Potenzialen und Gefahren im mittel- und osteuropäischen Zahlungsmarkt. Es geht u.a. um Vorteile durch Kostenreduzierungen, innovative Produktentwicklungen, mobile und elektronische Zahlungssysteme und „faster payments“; Konsequenzen aus überalteten E-Invoicing-Systemen sowie Probleme der Koexistenz von unterschiedlichen „Communities“ in einer Welt vielfältiger Standards.
Fachvortrag von Atos Worldline
Atos Worldline wird auf der Veranstaltung durch Thomas Maaß, Director Business Unit Banking & Finance Central Europe, vertreten. Sein Fachvortrag "Payments Processor or Value Added Services Provider: What Sort of Payments Provider Do You Want to Be?" erläutert die unterschiedlichen Optionen im Processing-Bereich sowie daraus resultierende Konsequenzen.
SEPA-Workshop
Eingeleitet wird die Konferenz durch einen SEPA-Workshop, der am 04.11.2008 stattfindet. Hier geht man der Frage nach, was der einheitliche Euro-Zahlungsraum (SEPA) und die Payment Service Directive (PSD), der rechtliche Rahmen für die Umsetzung von SEPA, für die Region bedeuten und ob die unterschiedlichen europäischen Zahlungssysteme überhaupt mit den SEPA-Anforderungen kompatibel sind.

Atos Worldline auf der Mail Order World 2008
Erstmals wird Atos Worldline auch auf der Mail Order World 2008 vertreten sein. Als Branchentreffpunkt für den Versandhandel und deren zunehmend wichtigsten Vertriebsformen wie E-Commerce und das Direktmarketing findet die Messe parallel zum Deutschen Versandhandelskongress statt.
In der Zeit vom 30.09. bis 02.10.2008 präsentiert das Unternehmen auf seinem Messestand (Stand 501 B) in den Rhein-Main-Hallen Lösungen rund um das europaweite Bezahlen im Internet. Ausstellungsschwerpunkt der Messe ist in diesem Jahr das Thema: „Web 2.0 und E-Commerce-Zukunftsstrategien für den Versandhandel“. Mit IPS und SIPS verfügt Atos Worldline über zwei E-Payment-Schnittstellen für den Zahlungsverkehr, über die zurzeit in Europa rund 200 Millionen Zahlungsvorgänge pro Jahr abgewickelt werden.

- Einsatz und regelmäßiger Update von Virenschutzprogrammen
- Entwicklung und Pflege sicherer System und Anwendungen
- Einschränkungen von Datenzugriffen auf das Notwendige
- Zuteilen einer eindeutigen Benutzerkennung für jede Person mit Rechnerzugang
- Beschränkung des physikalischen Zugriffs auf Daten von Kreditkarteninhabern
- Protokollieren und Prüfen aller Zugriffe auf Daten von Kreditkarteninhabern
- Regelmäßige Prüfungen aller Sicherheitssysteme und -prozesse
- Einführen und Einhalten von Richtlinien in Bezug auf Informationssicherheit.
Da die Umsetzung dieser Aktivitäten mit erheblichem Kosten- und Zeitaufwand für Unternehmen verbunden sind, entwickelte Atos Worldline eine Standard-Lösung, die Kunden erlaubt, auf eine eigene PCI-Zertifizierung zu verzichten. 6. bis 7. May 2008 - EHI-Kongress - Köln
EHI-Kongress: Zahlung und Kundenbindung per Karte
Atos Worldline wird vom 06. bis 07.05.2008 auf dem EHI-Kongress, der Top-Veranstaltung des EuroHandelsinstituts, im Congress-Centrum der Messe Köln vertreten sein und Lösungen für den Handel präsentieren. Der diesjährige Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Lösung "Retail Voucher" für den Einsatz von wieder aufladbaren Gift Cards im deutschen Einzelhandel. Die Atos Worldline-Expertisen aus dem elektronischen Zahlungsverkehr und dem Voucher/ eVoucher Management aus dem Umfeld der Telekommunikation kommen hier zu einer hochinteressanten neuen Idee zusammen.
Das EHI ist das wissenschaftliche Institut des Handels. Zu den 500 Mitgliedern zählen neben internationalen Handelsunternehmen und Herstellern von Konsumgütern auch zahlreiche Dienstleister aus der Kartenbranche.

Releasing the power of payments - same game, new rules
Die Europäische Payments Consulting-Association EPCA ist eine pan-europäische Vereinigung unabhängiger nationaler Beratungsfirmen mit hoher Expertise im Bereich von Zahlungssystemen und- produkten. Mitglieder von EPCA finden sich in Belgien, Dänemark, Frankreich, Deutschland, Großbritannien und den Niederlanden. In diesem Jahr wird die Konferenz von innopay (NL), PlusCON (DM) und SCC (NL) organisiert. Die Themenschwerpunkte greifen das Thema "Macht" in unterschiedlichem Kontext auf: es geht sowohl um die Macht des Kunden als auch um Macht von Innovation und neuen Zahlungskanälen. Mehr als 250 Key Player aus dem Finanzbereich werden die Gelegenheit wahrnehmen, Best Practices auszutauschen, wertvolle Kontakte zu knüpfen und sich hinsichtlich neuester Innovationen im Payments-Bereich auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen.
Atos Worldline hat sich entschieden, bei diesem wichtigen Event mit einem Informationsstand präsent zu sein. Experten aus der Abteilung e-Payment Products werden Lösungen von Atos Worldline vorstellen und Interessenten beraten. Sowohl "klassische" Internet-Bezahlverfahren wie Karte, ELV und Mailorder / Telefonorder (MOTO) als auch das grenzüberschreitende Online-Banking-e-Payment-Verfahren (OBeP) werden präsentiert. Mit OBeP erhält der Konsument die Möglichkeit, mit dem eigenen e-Banking-Konto schnell und sicher im Internet zu bezahlen. Sowohl Banken als auch Acquirer werden die Lösungen ansprechen, da sie im stetig wachsenden E-Commerce neue Erträge erzielen können.
Die internationale Konferenz ist die einzige Veranstaltung, die mit einem umfassenden und speziell für Fachleute zugeschnittenen Programm alle relevanten Themen anspricht. Konferenzteilnehmer können drei Tage lang von exzellenten Networking-Chancen profitieren. Bei den vier Pre-Conference Expert Sessions geht es um die Themen e-Payments, EMV/Chip, e-Invoicing und Mobile Payments. Atos Worldline präsentiert eGK KAMS auf der TeleHealth
Atos Worldline ist im Rahmen der CeBIT 2008 in Hannover erstmalig auf der internationalen Kongressmesse TeleHealth vertreten. In der Zeit vom 07. bis 08.03.2008 präsentiert das Unternehmen auf ihrem Stand (Halle 8, Stand B19) als aktualisierte Abwicklungslösung für die Gesundheitskarte das erweiterte Kartenmanagementsystem „Worldline eGK KAMS“. Im Fokus der Präsentation steht der von Atos Worldline neu entwickelte Java Security Server. Mit ihm können beispielsweise Patientendaten besser gesteuert und ein Hardware-Sicherheitsmodul-Pool zur Applikation hin transparent angebunden werden.
Nach Erweiterung um den Bereich E-Health wurde die TeleHealth in diesem Jahr erstmals in die CeBIT integriert. Der Ausstellungsbereich bietet in Halle 8 einen ganzheitlichen Überblick über aktuelle IT-Lösungen für den Gesundheitsmarkt.

Es bleibt spannend
Was war - was wird
Begonnen hatte alles 1994. Damals noch unter der Bezeichnung "Deutsches Kartenforum" wurde die Veranstaltung aus der Taufe gehoben. Inzwischen sind 14 Jahre und sieben erfolgreiche Veranstaltungen vergangen. Das Thema Kartenzahlungen hat sich weiter entwickelt, die Diskussion der beteiligten Parteien Kreditwirtschaft, Handel und Verbraucher auch. Längst richtet sich der Blick nicht mehr auf Deutschland, England oder Frankreich, sondern - SEPA sei Dank - auf den Euro-Zahlungsraum. Statt Fragen wie: Karte ja oder nein? Debit oder Kredit? geht es um den Überblick in der Vielfalt. Und das bei Produkten, Zahlungsverkehrssystemen und Anbietern. Doch was wird aus ihnen mit SEPA? Wohin entwickelt sich das Debitkartengeschäft? Können landesspezifische Konzepte überleben, und wenn ja, wie sehen sie aus? Und überhaupt: Was wollen eigentlich die Banken, was will der Handel? Beispielsweise bei den Kosten. Und was wird mit der Zahlungssicherheit? Hat die Kartenwirtschaft sie oder der Sicherheitswahn eher die Kartenwirtschaft im Griff?
Mehr Einblick für mehr Durchblick
Fragen über Fragen. Antworten versucht am 21.02.2008 das im Congress Center der Messe Frankfurt (Saal Harmonie) stattfindende Achte Kartenforum zu geben. Dort werden - nach Begrüßung durch die Geschäftsführung der Veranstalter Atos Worldline und B+S Card Service - namhafte Referenten aus dem In- und Ausland den Veranstaltungsteilnehmern ihre Sicht der Dinge vorstellen und mögliche Lösungsansätze diskutieren.
Aber bitte mit Stil!
Warum dabei nicht nur Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt ist, wird nach der Mittagspause das Exkurs-Thema zeigen. Mit "Vorsicht Fettnäpfchen - Business mit Stil" geht es darum, was beim ersten Eindruck vor allem zählt. Hier gewonnene Erkenntnisse und Einsichten können bei Bedarfn, neben Fachgesprächen, auch beim abendlichen Buffet vertieft werden.
Teilnehmer - Moderatoren
Als Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung werden dieses Mal über 500 Vertreter aus Kreditwirtschaft, Handel, Verkehr und IT sowie Vertreter der Medien erwartet. Die Moderation der Fachthemen wird übrigens in diesem Jahr unter veranstaltereigener Regie stehen. Thomas Maaß, Director "Banking & Finance Central Europe" von Atos Worldline und Doris Pilz, Bereichsleiterin Produkte und Projekte, geben am 21.02.2008 ihr gemeinsames Debüt.

22. und 23. Januar 2008 - 8. Poseidon ZVT-Infomationsforum - St Goar
Atos Worldline veranstaltet am 22. und 23. Januar 2008 zum achten Mal das Poseidon ZVT-Informationsforum im Tagungshotel Schloß Rheinfels, Sankt Goar. Schwerpunkte der Veranstaltung bilden auf dem nun schon fest etablierten Informationsforum die Vortragsthemen "Einführung von EMV- und Alliance-Karten im Hinblick auf SEPA" und "Neues aus der POSEIDON ZVT, dem deutschen Protokoll für Zahlungsverkehrsterminals". Zu diesem Informationsaustausch lädt der Veranstalter Atos Worldline Vertreter von Netzbetreibern und Terminalherstellern, sowie weiteren Interessengruppen, ein. Die Teilnehmer können hier aktuelle Branchenthemen diskutieren und gleichzeitig direkten Kontakt mit den Entwicklungsleitern von Atos Worldline pflegen.

In der Zeit vom 16. - 18.01.2008 findet in Berlin, im Grand Hotel Esplanade, die Omnicard 2008 statt. Auch hier ist Atos Worldline wieder mit einem Stand vertreten.
